Dr H Aston (Educational Psychologist)A well designed programme that offers knowledge and guidance on how to use a trauma informed approach with young people impacted by and who have experienced Domestic Abuse. The resources are colourful, informative and well structured.
Mr R Nicholls, Assistant PrincipleEye opening, Informative and Supportive. It is great to be in training with such a diverse group of people with so many have skills sets which complements the programme discussion points. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the training. The programme was filled with moments of deep thought, laughter at time, deep reflections and most of all a supportive field in which no questions, response or reflection felt silly. Jane was enthusiastic throughout and really set the tone allowing us all to feel comfortable. Asha was a so supportive and allowed us to speak freely and support all discussions point with expert knowledge. Thank you.
Miss S Roberts, Family Support WorkerInformative and very useful gets you thinking in the eyes of the children and gives you a chance to reflect on your own practice.
Ms Featherstone, Cannock Chase High School, Pastoral SupportIt was FANTASTIC!! Thank you so much for the opportunity. It’s a real breath of fresh air, Jane ran it really well, it was easy to follow, engaging, easy to access and be involved in. I felt safe and comfortable to share. It challenged most of us who class ourselves as ‘fixers’ as we learned a little about the program and the fact that it’s not about talking through personal experiences but it’s about giving the young people tools and empowering them. Granted we only touched a little on the content of how the groups will run but I am so excited to learn more and then put it into practice. The fact that all the resources will be available for us to use is fantastic.
