Pupils liked the videos and colouring in the person worksheets. They wished the course was longer, but whilst participating were relaxed and said they had fun. One of the pupils said that they used the breathing techniques at home. All girls said they would recommend HT to others as it helped calm them down when they felt angry or upset at home.

I would say it is a programme to support children in regulating their nervous system, and tools to help children feel safer without asking direct questions that might re-trigger them. Jane Evans was fantastic! Very compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and presented the training really well. I thought the questions and group work really helped us to step into the shoes of a child who might have experienced domestic abuse and/or trauma. Best training I’ve been on for a while. Thank you!
